About Hearing Conservation

Hearing conservation programs are designed to prevent noise induced hearing loss. A written hearing conservation program is required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) “whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level (TWA) of 85 decibels measured on the A scale (slow response) or, equivalently, a dose of fifty percent.”

We know that it can take a lot more time and effort to send your employees somewhere for their annual hearing screening. HEAR Mobile Hearing Clinic provides direct to you In-Office employee screening.

We use a high-tech computer based audiometer to be compact, easy to set up right in your office. Employees can then be brought in one after another for testing, taking only 5-10min per employee.

For employees not subject to such high decibels it is a company benefit for them to have a hearing screening on file so they have access to there baseline audio point screening incase of sudden changes due to high fevers, falls, injuries or accidents. This is also a protection to the company to have on file.
